Prison Cell concepts for Love Death + Robots - For He Can Creep

Director Emily Dean's brief was to create a ‘forgotten space’ where people are left to go mad, hidden from society. It was also to resemble a crypt repurposed to be a prison.

The design response was to create an asymmetrical space, a half-arch, that would lean over the poet. This shape would also help lead our eye through the space. The high window would help make the prisoner feel like he is underground with the surface ‘out of reach’ - but with just enough light to hit his table.
